A few weeks ago, Matt surprised me with a weekend at Cannon Beach! I was especially excited because I have been wanting to go to the Ocean Lodge for some time...because it is dog friendly, meaning Aslan can come! The Ocean Lodge is unique because not only are dogs allowed but they are WELCOME! In the hotel room, she had her own corner of treats, blankets, water bowl, and then wash stations to hose off the dogs after playing at the beach. It was really fun...Aslan was in heaven!

The most entertaining part of the trip was walking down the streets of Seaside with Aslan's brother, Dutch! We met up with our friends in Seaside and it was quite the scene having the two of them together. :-) Dutch weighs about 80 lbs more than Aslan and people thought he was half bear!
